The current state of Brahmin Community in India is deteriorating. There is urgency now to fight for the upliftment of the forward (So called Forward as they are actually backward) communities of India. To see the plight of the current brahman community in india check this video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=P7Xgc4ljHKM.

The main reason for the deteriorating situation of the brahman community is our very core value of Tolerance and Non-Violence. I am not advocating violence, atleast we should come out in the street and start protesting for all the injustice that is happening to us. Tolerating injustice as “the Fate” would no longer get us anywhere.

Some of the things that should help our community to lead a normal life:

1. Unite all Brahmans in the country.

2. Form a strong institution that helps develop our community into one of the politically strong and socially strong commuinity.

3. Form our own network that shall help fellow poor Brahmans in their Livelihood to give them Mental and physical strength to face all the discriminations that they are facing.

Let me know fellow Brahmans any other ways that you have so that we can help this poor community from discriminations and help uplift this community.

I am atlast able to support one leader whom i can trust. I support Mayawati Yes she is a dalit leader, so is she a leader for Brahmins.

Dravidian moments always portay that a miniscule 2% Brahmin community was the reason for all their suppresion. If you really see its the OBCs that actually supress the Dalits and at the same time supress the Brahmins as well.

The OBCs (take an example of Thevars who always kill and ruin dalits live near their towns in Tamil Nadu), discriminate the Dalits in their acts and while talking politically present themselves to be supporter of Dalits.

Ask an OBC what they have done for the upliftment of the Dalits for the last 60years, when actually they were the rulers of Tamil Nadu. Why is the dalit’s condition not improved with the governance of Dravidian parties!

It is simple, OBCs are the exploiters and offenders of the Dalits. But they happily put the blame on the brahmins. Its easy to play a blame game; Its more easier to blame a silent, soft ommunity that doesnt have any political backup what so ever. What people say, beating a dead man and claiming victory.

Take an example of the Tamil Nadu government and tell me the total amount of Brahmin MLAs in the assembly, its just two, one is Jayalalitha and the other is SV Sekhar. The remaining lot is the OBcs who are still working for last 60 years to bring the dalit’s life to a better one. But all these 60 years of their rule, have you ever seen the dravidian parties did anything good to dalits? All they did is to offend Brahmins and their disciplined life. All they did in 60years is to systematically offend Brahmin community(hitting a dead man) and neglecting improvement of the actual underpriveledged.

If they have done any good to dalits, why is dalit’s conditions have not improved in last 60years, dont tell me two brahmin MLAs were the whole reason for their non-improvement!!

This is the reality, its the ruling class(OBCs) who are the exploiters of every other castes. They were the exploiters of Dalits and Brahmins.

It has just started that the two opressed communities (dalits and Brahmins) are just joining their hands together. Let us march forward and get our self respect back from the ruling OBCs.

These priveledged castes (Rather people belonging to these castes) would get benefits to get into good universities with lesser merit than the required merit to get into good universities.

Once they complete their education, these priveledged caste people would get reserved jobs in the Government (which means you can get a government job with lesser merit obatined in the examination.)

Again they would get promotions with lesser merit, as we have reservations in the promotions in government jobs as well!

Hi All,
Let me tell you something i know about Brahmins.
They are Poor as well as Rich. But they are Brilliant and Intelligent. This no one can steal from them.
Of course they are ridiculed and denied any of the rights (Like Jobs and Higher Education) These are denied from them only by politicians to get votes from Dalits, Christians and Muslims.
Let me tell you. Jews were chased by every one.
What is their position now. They are the Intelligent ones in the World. They are able to Cultivate Apple in a Desert.
Same way the more you crush Brahmins they will also grow. Many Brahmins are abroad and they are rich and bring laurells to our country.
Deny them one they will choose the other and try to make a living. If you deny them higher education in India they will get the same in US and grow well. It is high time that Government stops these reservations and look every one with same view.

RE:Blessing in disguise for Brahmins

Actually he is right. In Germany, Hitler (Political leaders) came to power by instigating the majority Germans against Jews who were very successful in trade and education (remember Einstein?). Jews (Brahmins) were only a few % (like Brahmins 3%) of the population and they were vilified as having come from “outside” (Aryan invasion theory) and were unjustly cornering the benefits. Theories expounded by Goebbels (Periyar) were used for propaganda. So laws were passed restricting trade ownership (SSI laws), minimum 50% of German (OBC/SC/ST) employees in Jewish (Brahmin) firms, and in appointment of Professors in state funded institutions (IITs/IIMs). In other words, quotas, like in TN for example.

All problems for German majority (OBC/SC/ST), including defeat at British hands were attributed to Jews (Brahmins), and roused the population. To keep the rhetoric high, and the minds of people away from hunger/poverty, the Jew (Brahmin) became the prime symbol to be attacked. Millions of Jews (Brahmins) had to flee to America, Australia, Canada (like Brahmins today) and England. Einstein and other Jews helped create the atom bomb in America. Lessons anyone?

How we define Religious Tolerance?

I guess, religious tolerance is to allow other religions to co-exist and respect that they have their own right to follow their own faith.

If this is so, why some religions are converting the rest of the world to itself? Please do not get emotional, lets look at this at a very rational way.

If we think one religion is very great, that you feel is the best one to follow, would it not automatically observe people to it?

If this is considered true why do we need conversions?

I feel, the necessity of conversion should have existed when the religion started(evolved), where you would have very few people following it. So, feeling insecure that it might get destroyed, we convert others to it and prevent our religion from extinction.

Lets take the case of Christianity:

Since christianity is the major religion followed by the entire world why would we need to convert others into christianity, if others feel it(Christianity) is good they would automatically start following ours(Christianity) and become a christian!

Why do we still have the same fear to get all others converted! Why huge machineries with so much funding to make this world a christian world.

Imagine a monolithick world of single religion ! Would it not be boring! When we have no choice? I would definetly not prefer it!

I am pained to see the bakbone less Hindus are getting easily converted to christianity for money! (Yes, some missonies offer money if some one gets converted to their religion and this happens in India).

I feel very bad that at some time we would never have any choice to follow a different faith except christianity.

How do you feel in such a monolithic world!

Sri Chanakya’s Niti Sastra says “Never inhabit a country where you are not respected, where you cannot gain knowledge”..

I feel now, my future generation would not be respected, nor they can gain equal education. So what is the point in inhabiting this country… I am very pained to say this..
But do i left with any choice?

I am already treated as a second grade citizen and as per the trends, this would further deteriorate… I am help less. I wanted to stay in my country and serve it. I wanted my country to flourish and be a role model to all the nations to follow.. but now after seeing these cunning ruling class (The OBCs).. yes these are the ruling class, take the example of Tamil nadu what is the percentage of MLAs / MPs that are brahmins? I guess its less than 1%! And what is the percentage of OBCs its 99%!!! and these 99% guys say they are backward and they need reservation!! what an irony…

I want to disown my state, i am very ashamed to say that i belong to such a nasty sate of Tamil Nadu…! I hate these caste based politicians who think they are taking revenge on the brahmins for my fore fathers commited crime on their fore fathers!!!

I was brought up in chennai city, i never knew what was the caste of the guy who sits next to me at school, until i filled up my higher secondary examination forms where i am asked to mention my caste as Forward!! I saw when such a forward guy as me is coming on a public transport, my backward friends were coming on luxurious cars!!! I couldnt get what this backward mean? If they feel that guys in viallages are back ward then why are these guys who are coming car getting the reservation? Are they still back ward?? This is just bull shit.

I dont know why i am being discriminated for no fault of mine… I was brain washed to think that i need to bore the mistakes of my fore fathers!

I have never done any discrimination against any one! why am i being discriminated based on caste… ???
Is this to tell me that i need to start discriminating people based on caste? Or is it to tell that I need to move out of my country….??

Any way i am getting a secondary treatment in my own country why shouldnt i go out and work for another country where i would any way deserve to get a secondary treatment…
atleast then i wont feel as bad as like this…..

Me – A Most backward Brahman..
